after several years of development we are delighted to finally reveal the drumming device of the future – drumbeam. our next gen drumming controller will enter the stage by the end of spring 2024. take a look at what you can expect and keep your eyes open for the final release.
with dimensions of 54 x 2.4 x 3.2 centimeters [l-w-h] drumbeam fits into a regular backpack while still leaving space for a notebook, several bottles of beer and other things that are important for your daily needs.
from displaying one huge continuous drumming zone to arranging multiple zones with different sizes, everything is possible. try cymbal mode and mimic every centimeter of a natural cymbal or dive deep into expression with continuous position recognition within each drumming zone [drumhead mode].
our revolutionary drumming interface features whole scale position recognition, whilst ensuring a huge dynamic range. from petting to full force, drumbeam will capture every centimeter and nuance of your expression.
to ensure high durability even in the wildest conditions, we decided to craft the whole body into a solid block of aluminum. this makes drumbeam extremely sturdy.
you know whats better than a drumbeam? its three of it, mimicking a full scale drum kit. its where things like cymbal or drumhead mode really come to life. playing your cymbal from bell to edge or smacking your snare from rim to center on a compact electronic device is no longer just a dream, but reality.
this video was taken at a jam session, where we invited people to play on a drumbeam for the first time ever. we were stunned by how fast everyone adapted to the way of playing drumbeam. this really showed us, how much of an intuitive device drumbeam really is.
drumbeam is an innovative multi touch midi controller, that is played with drumsticks. it features a wide drumming interface, that is capable of precisely capturing every position you’re hitting while being force sensitive at a wide dynamic range. this enables you to vary sounds by hitting different positions within the drumming zone. drumbeam comes with a set of pre build interface arrangements, but also offers huge customization options. you can create up to 16 drumming zones with different sizes, colors, behaviors and dynamic responses.
